Nominative determinism

From reading New Scientist's Quick Science blog, I find out that the head of HIV/AIDS at the World Health Organisation is called Kevin de Cock. Which shouldn't be funny, but is.

One of my colleagues claims to know his sisters, Ivana and Ophelia.

My brother knows two girls called Claire Annette Reed and Orana Bo Reed (aka O.Bo Reed). Their parents must have been very mean.
